Patricia Helene Nathan

Patricia Helene Nathan passed away on Thursday, April 4, 2024, at the age of 79. She was born in Houston, Texas on May 1, 1944, the middle child of Alexander and Florence Nathan as well as an older brother and younger sister. She graduated from Bellaire High School and attended the University of Texas at Austin. In the early 80's she became involved in the jewelry business. She became a jewelry designer and seller in her own business. This became one of her many passions over the next 40 years. Some of her passions included gardening, cooking, tennis, and golf. In her free time, she loved to be by the pool or at the beach. She had a deep love for her pets. Patricia was always there for friends and family that didn't feel well and was always eager to lend an ear no matter the time of day. Patricia's greatest pride and joy were her 8 grandchildren. She loved having them over for the entire weekend. Time spent with them included: watching movies, eating popcorn and candy, and going to the many activities they were involved in. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Alexander and Florence Nathan, and her grandchild, Jacob Ledford. She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Marcia Strauss and David Frantz; her brother and sister-in-law, Marvin and Arlene Nathan; her children, Marc and Nancy Abramson, Kathy and Joe Landwerlin, Amy and Mike Gray and Alyssa Abramson; her grandchildren, Alex, Brendan, Erin, Haley, Joshua, Chase, Presley; and the many nieces, nephews and cousins. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Patricia's memory may be made to Olabisi Lawal of Hoover Oaks Memory Care, 12900 Shadow Creek Parkway #2211, Pearland, Texas 77478. A funeral service, officiated by Rabbi Brian Strauss, was held on Sunday afternoon, April 7 in the Kagan Rudy Chapel at Emanu El Memorial Park.
