Myron David "Dave" Introligator

Myron David “Dave” Introligator, 85, a pioneer in the industrial machinery world and a beloved family man, passed away on Friday, January 23, 2026. Dave was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Ida Introligator; his son, Kerry; his sister, Ethel; and his brothers, Robert and Jack. He is survived by his beloved wife, Judy; his children, Amy, Eric, and Lori; and his six cherished grandchildren: Cole, Carson, Jordan, Michalie, Zachary, and Eliana. Born on January 4, 1941, in Trenton, New Jersey, Dave attended elementary and middle school in his hometown before moving to Houston as a teenager with his parents, Paul and Ida. He graduated from San Jacinto High School and attended the University of Houston for several semesters before committing full-time to the machinery business, where he had already begun his career as a salesman for his father. Dave’s professional legacy was defined by his leadership at the family company, Paul’s Machinery. After taking over the business, he became a driving force in the Used Machine Tool Market and, in the mid-1980s, expanded his impact by entering the Industrial Auction Business. Through his work at Paul’s Machinery, PMI (Plant & Machinery), Industrial Assets & Acquisitions, and the many businesses he helped develop and mentor, Dave established himself as a titan of the industry. He was celebrated for his sharp deal-making and an unwavering belief in the integrity of "handshake relationships." Before modern day cell phones and when out of mobile radio range, Dave would be singing John Denver songs from the 8-track tape in the car. “Sunshine” was his favorite. He also had a love for flying and took flying lessons at Ellington during his younger years. Even in bigger planes flying commercial, the skies had to be clear; not a cloud in the sky. Outside of the office, Dave was a man of many passions. An avid outdoorsman, he was often found on his boat April through October, chasing speckled trout and redfish off the jetties in Galveston. He was also an athlete who played racquetball for many years, developing lifelong friendships through the sport. At home, Dave was a gifted cook who delighted in creating new dishes; his legendary beef BBQ ribs were famously considered the best. Dave’s legacy of business acumen, mentorship, and devotion to his family will be long remembered. A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at 11:00 am in the Kagan-Rudy Chapel at Emanu El Memorial Park, 8341 Bissonnet Street, Houston, Texas 77074. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making a donation to a charity of your choice.
