Mark Alan Meyerson

To put it simply, if you ask anyone about Mark Alan Meyerson, they’d say he was a great man. Kind, supportive, hardworking, and deeply dedicated to his family. If you ask his kids, they’d say he was an inappropriate comedian. His wife says he was stubborn, loyal, dedicated, and loved his kids intensely. Mark was born in Los Angeles, California on April 27, 1967. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Lee’Or, and their three amazing children, Liam (19), Eli (17), Beyla (15), and his dog, Maggie. He is also survived by his mother, Ilarae; his siblings, Bobby and Michelle Meyerson and Julie and Tom Waslo; his nieces, Abbie and Jessica, and nephews, Connor and Simon; his father-in-law, Ami Borovick, and sister-in-law Adi Borovick. He is preceded in death by his father, Eddie, his sister, Karen, his mother-in-law, Lynn, and his beloved boxers, Cali and Michonne. Originally from California, Mark was a surfer turned car guru. He found peace on the water and loved being on his surfboard in LA or Hawaii. Mark and Lee’Or moved their family to Houston, her hometown, in 2009. He took to Texas life quickly and immediately bought his first pickup truck. Lee’Or and Mark built their circle of friends in Sienna. He loved the movies, poker night, golfing and his beloved LA Dodgers. He was a pit master, and friends would beg for an invite when they knew he was smoking brisket or ribs. Family gatherings were happily attended when they knew he would be the caterer! To Mark, his family was his everything. He was hardworking, tirelessly dedicated to supporting Lee’Or, Liam, Eli, and Beyla. Mark will be missed terribly. We are all so heartbroken. One piece of solace, in this House of Astros fans…he got to see his LA DODGERS win the World Series one final time. A memorial service will take place on Friday, November 8, 2024, at 11:00 am at Congregation Beth El, 3900 Raoul Wallenberg Lane, Missouri City, TX 77459.
