Daniel Singer

Daniel Singer of Houston, Texas passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at the age of 74. He will be remembered as a selfless and adoring father, husband, grandfather, uncle, and friend. Daniel was born on May 28, 1950, to Rosita Guefen Singer (Gaon) and Benito Singer in Mexico City D.F. He grew up in Mexico City, spending summers in Cuernavaca, alongside his identical twin brother, Arturo, and sister, Ruth, both of blessed memory. After living in Haifa, Israel in his early 20s, he moved to Houston, Texas, where he started a family and raised two daughters: Lauren Singer Harris (Brian) and Robyn Singer, both of whom who survive him. In Houston, Daniel worked as a commercial real estate broker with his stepfather, Albert Gaon, and brother. Daniel later married his adoring wife, Stella Saenz Singer, who survives him, with whom he was together for over 32 years and married for 24 years. Daniel and Stella traveled the world together, enjoyed the simple things in life, and lived life to the fullest with their merged family. Daniel also leaves behind his adoring grandchildren, Alexandra and Aaron Harris, his stepchildren, Ricardo Arce (Angela), Mauricio Arce (Patricia), and Claudia Arce, along with their children and grandchildren. He was like a father to his nieces and nephews, Roselle Oberstein (Jacob), Albert Singer (Victoria), Ruthie Vysotskiy (Andrew), Rina Trakhtenberg (Leon), Daniella Waknin (Or), and David Singer (Hava), and adored time spent with their children. The funeral service was held on Friday, January 10, 2025, at 3:00pm in the Sophia and Jack Bender Memorial Chapel at the Beth Yeshurun Post Oak Cemetery located at 7445 Awty School Lane, Houston, Texas 77055.
